Clean Eating used to be a special nutrition issue for Canada-based Oxygen magazine, but starting in fall 2007, it will be a standalone magazine with its own content.
Buys nutrition stories with a slant toward the family who's very conscious of health and fitness -- they're probably a little more hardcore than Cooking Light, though. (For example, protein powder is something you'll find in their recipes --- not so with CL!) If you can develop recipes for your stories, all the better. They look for recipes that are low in fat, sugar, and salt.
The editors are pleasant and get back to you quickly. Edits are straightforward. Pay starts around .50/word with additional payment for recipes.
E-mail format: firstinitiallastname@cleaneatingmag.com
Editor in chief: Alicia Rewega
** Starting in the Dec/Jan 09 issue Clean Eating will be going bimonthly.
