Notes: Work largely on assignment--writer-proposed articles may showbe upassigned down the line, but don't exceptexpect acceptance of a query right away. Most articles are broad overviews rather than tightly focused stories. Authentic student voices are important--a typical feature would have at least three student interviews and at least two from experts (administrators, doctors, etc.).etc.) if applicable.
Topics covered include health and nutrition, stress and time management, mental health, and sexuality, all with a college student slant.
Their turn-around times are short, usually about 2 weeks (sometimes less). Just changed management, so contracts and billing are a bit disorganized, but they pay promptly. Pleasant to work with and happy to work with students and recent college graduates.
