- The Engravers Journal is an awards and recognition (R&I) trade magazine (think trophies, awards).
- Break in with LOI or queries i.e. industry profiles (corporate as well as personal), how to increase sales, developing new markets (niches), using sales techniques.
- Pays on Acceptance- within 30 days of receiving release.
- Length- typically 2000 words- They're very lenient, though. They have a "write until you're done" attitude.
- Generally pays about 25 cents per word. Most articles pay somewhere in the vicinity of $500 or just under, but work is abundant if they like your writing style- and articles are relatively easy to write.
- Accepts previously published submissions
Articles should always be down to earth, practical, and thoroughly cover the subject with the awards and recognition shop owner in mind- including profile pieces (all articles have to answer the "What's in it for me?" question with the retailer) Sound, practical information is what EJ is looking for.
